Save the date
On the fourth Saturday of May we will say our vows in the walled garden at Wrenmoor House, and then dance until they send us home. Everything you need to know is on this page.

Our story
We met at a supper club in Bristol, argued about whether the soup needed salt, and have been finishing each other's sentences ever since. Last spring, walking the ridge above Marlow End, Idris asked, and Rosalind said yes before he had finished the question.

The venue
A Georgian manor wrapped in wisteria, two hours west of London. The ceremony is in the walled garden, dinner in the orangery, and the dancing happens in the barn.

Dress code
Suits without ties, dresses that move, colours that belong outdoors. It is grass and gravel underfoot, so leave the stilettos at home, and evenings get cool, so bring a layer.
The day
Arrive from half past one. The garden gate closes at five to. The ceremony is held outdoors in the walled garden and seating is unassigned, so sit wherever you like.
Croquet, shade, and a string quartet on the lawn. We will slip away for photographs. The canapes will find you.
Long tables and short speeches, we promise. Place cards are at the door and the menu leans on the kitchen garden, so mention allergies in your reply.
One song, then you are all invited. If it goes badly we have asked the band to simply play louder.
The band plays till late and the DJ later still. The barn stays warm, the bar stays open, and cake appears at ten.
Taxis are booked. Add your name at the welcome table by dinner. Staying nearby? It is a short, well lit walk to Ivyhouse Barn.

Your invitation names everyone we have room for. If it says your name and a guest, please bring them. If you are unsure, ask us and we will check the list rather than guess.
Very. There is a garden to run in and a quiet room upstairs for a nap. Tell us their ages in your reply and we will put something on the table they will actually eat.
Trains from Paddington to Chippenham take about seventy minutes, and a taxi from the station is twenty. There is plenty of parking at the house if you would rather drive.
It is England in May, so it may well. The orangery seats everyone, and the ceremony moves indoors with fifteen minutes notice. Nothing about the day depends on the weather.
Your being there is the gift, and we mean that. If you would like to give something anyway, we are saving towards a long trip and would love a contribution to it.
